The one notable Regency church in the city (the Methodist church) has been descibed separately.  

 

Canterbury is not otherwise well endowed with modern churches in Neo-classical styles ie drawing from the classical features of Greek and Roman buildings.  Most Victorian and later church designers have chosen gothic styles - examples include St Gregory's, St Thomas' Roman Catholic; city cemetery chapel, and St Mary Bredin - use button on right for details.

One modern example of Neo-classical style is worthy of mention - St Andrew's United Reform Church which stands in Watling Street and was opened in 2001.  Its rich variety of classical motifs can be seen in captions to the following images:
